Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – 25 November 2022: ROSHN, Saudi Arabia’s national real estate developer, took home three major prizes across this year’s prestigious Construction Week KSA 2022 Awards and Construction Week Middle East 2022 Awards, after being short-listed for ten.

In addition to winning ‘Developer of the Year’ for its significant contributions to helping transform the Kingdom’s residential sector in line with Vision 2030, ROSHN CEO David Grover was named ‘Real Estate Icon of the Year’ at the prestigious ceremony held on November 9th in Riyadh. At the Middle East Awards held in Dubai, ROSHN picked up ‘Residential Project of the Year’ for SEDRA, following the huge success of its flagship development.

At the KSA Awards, ROSHN gained recognition with the title of ‘Highly Commended Female Leader of the Year’, for Group Chief Marketing Officer Ghada Alrumayan, and was shortlisted for ‘Health and Safety Initiative of the Year’. At the Middle East Awards, ROSHN was awarded ‘Highly Commended’ in the category ‘CSR Initiative of the Year’ for the YUHYEEK Zahra Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign during which ROSHN partnered with the Zahra Association to run a nation-wide awareness and support campaign throughout the month of October.

Commenting on the awards, ROSHN Group CEO David Grover said, “I am honoured to be part of an organisation that works day and night to remake and remodel the urban fabric of Saudi Arabia. Not one of these awards would have been possible without our incredibly hardworking team, which is empowering a new generation of Saudi homeowners and boosting overall growth.” He continued, “We are humbled that our efforts to build integrated communities with high-quality housing are being recognised and as we continue to be fully committed to bringing Saudis the highest living quality standards in support of the government’s drive to increase homeownership.”

The Construction Week KSA Awards celebrates the leading contractors, consultants, and sub-contractors responsible for the ongoing giga projects and landmark developments that make the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia among the most exciting countries in the world for construction development. An independent jury of judges reviewed the shortlisted developers against several criteria and announced the winners at an awards ceremony held on November 9, 2022. The Construction Week Middle East Awards recognise the best and brightest from across the region, with its own independent jury of judges announcing the winners on November 24, 2022.

ROSHN’s impressive showing was the result of going “above and beyond” its capabilities over the past 12 months to bring some of the Kingdom’s most transformative housing projects closer to fruition. Chief among these was the progress made on SEDRA, its flagship project in Riyadh, which was delivered ahead of schedule.

ROSHN’s ambition is to become the most trusted national developer, spearheading the development of the domestic real estate and construction industry by deploying international standards, practices, and technologies in the Saudi market. Through in-house expertise and partnerships with leading global companies, ROSHN’s customers benefit from the best the international real estate industry has to offer. Guided by the Vision 2030, ROSHN strives to increase homeownership in the Kingdom, bringing a new concept of living to the market, but also works to ensure that ROSHN projects and partnerships contribute to quality of life of and benefit of Saudi society at large.
