ROSHN launches sales for ALAROUS, an urban community that brings a new way of living to the Kingdom’s Western Region

  1. ROSHN is intended to ease the path to homeownership for Saudi citizens
  2. ALAROUS, the new community, brings ROSHN’s vision for better living to the Kingdom’s beautiful west coast

RIYADH, 12 December 2022: RROSHN, the national real estate developer bringing new, integrated modes of living to the Kingdom, has launched sales for the first phase of the ALAROUS project in Jeddah.

The first phase of ALAROUS, ‘The Bride of the Red Sea’ will offer 2,365 single family homes in the community’s eastern village and commercial core. Once complete, ALAROUS will extend over 4 million square meters and will offer include more than 18,000 different residential units. The community will be developed according to ROSHN’s key design principles – the provision of high-quality housing connected to an array of integrated amenities and public spaces that together form vibrant, livable communities.

The community will include pedestrian-friendly streets, green spaces, and a rich array of civic, retail, sports, and recreational amenities that promote a fulfilling and healthy lifestyle, all of which will be developed to the highest standards. Like other ROSHN communities, ALAROUS is designed to offer a modern, open lifestyle, while preserving the Kingdom’s rich heritage and local urban designs.

David Grover, ROSHN Group Chief Executive Officer, commented “Bringing our vision for modern, integrated living to Jeddah is a testament to the demand for the ROSHN concept. As a national developer, we strive to go beyond building homes to building communities that create vibrant, entertaining, and fulfilling lifestyles. ALAROUS will foster human connection, supported by a rich array of amenities and services that will create an experience unique to the Western Region.”

The opening of sales for ALAROUS follows the successful roll-out of Riyadh’s SEDRA, where ROSHN’s early offerings were met with an overwhelmingly positive response. Demonstrating the market demand for ROSHN’s concept of integrated neighbourhoods packed with amenities that support a well-balanced, fulfilling lifestyle, the sales booking pipeline for SEDRA was 30-times oversubscribed for the first 3,048 units.

ROSHN is the national real estate developer powered by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). It is mandated to deliver high-quality living standards to Saudis and support government efforts to increase homeownership rates. ROSHN builds communities that are inspired by both Saudi heritage and the evolving ambitions of the Saudi people, acting as the master developer, property developer, and operator across a wide range of asset classes and land uses, including residential, retail, commercial, hospitality and public/civic facilities.
