ROSHN signs deal with CPA Australia to bolster professional training
- The MoU effectuates an international partnership between two of the most vital entities from
Saudi Arabia and Australia
- The deal arrives as the Kingdom’s national real estate developer shores up its offering to
include new sectors, each of which will require best-in-class accounting services
Riyadh – 23 January 2023 - ROSHN, a PIF Giga-project and the National real estate developer of Saudi Arabia has inked an agreement with CPA Australia, one of the world's largest accounting bodies. The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed to create a collaboration between the organisations to increase training and professional development opportunities for individuals employed by ROSHN.
“Training our workforce with continued professional development is a vital goal for ROSHN. Signing this agreement with CPA Australia is an important development as it will not only strengthen our employees’ financial ingenuity and knowhow but also, drive ROSHN forward by partnering with an industry leader,” said ROSHN Group CEO, David Grover.
CPA Australia CEO, Andrew Hunter, praised ROSHN’s vision in identifying the importance of capability building, saying, “Finance and accounting professionals play a critical role in achieving the 2030 Vision for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. ROSHN demonstrates a clear commitment to the professional development of its teams, and CPA Australia is delighted to partner with ROSHN in contributing our expertise and capacity for customised training in accounting and finance, leadership, strategy, and business’’
Under the terms of the agreement, CPA Australia will waive the assessment fee for each ROSHN employee enrolling in their CPA Programme and provide an AUD$200 discount for related courses. The MoU also includes a provision for consultation to ROSHN’S accounting department as well as support with utilising alternative pathways to CPA Australia membership for eligible ROSHN employees.
ROSHN will provide prospective candidates with access to CPA Australia for consultation about the CPA Program, identify high-performing finance and accounting staff as eligible CPA Program candidates and consult with CPA Australia L&D experts about the Corporate Learning Solutions programme.
